Rustic Lion

This piece continues on my 'rustic' animal series alongside my already completed Giraffe, Elephant, Hippo and African Horn bill.

I often talk about the eyes of animals and this wonderful beast is no exception. Their eyes reflect a piece of their souls.

As a child I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with these amazing animals, I grew a lot of love and respect for them.
