Dressage Horse

This horse was done in 'the passage' position. The colours are almost blurred while still placing emphasis on the eyes and head area. Each colour has been selected to enhance the implied shadow or light area. Although quite a minimalist painting, the many layers have created a depth and sole for this horse.
