NZ Pigeon on Canvas

This New Zealand Pigeon/ kererū was done on commission along with 2 other NZ birds (a Tui and Fantail). I used a few watercolour techniques with the acrylic to give the background a blurred forest/bush effect. The foreground is made up of acrylic, fluid medium, white and black ink. The Pigeon itself is quite dominant and less abstract than some of my other versions.
