Robin and Rose

Colourful Robin and rose watercolour with a subtle green and yellow background. The foreground is built up of watercolour and ink layers. The rose was a particular challenge as I wanted it to be appealing but not overwhelming. I loved working on the little bird with its bright orange breast and detail through the feathers.
