Rustic Giraffe

This piece follows a bit of a 'rustic' colour theme that I have been working on. This giraffe joins my already completed Elephant and Hippo pieces.

I have always been fascinated by giraffes and how they are able to maintain such a high level of elegance while being so awkwardly proportioned. They move with complete grace and never fail to amaze us with there beauty.

Hippos are glorious animals and after doing my latest 'Rustic Elephant' piece I decided to work in a similar colour palette. The earthy tones seem to tie in really nicely with the African theme.
